The four flowers photographed on this mint booklet pane are Freesia. Cymbidium Orchid. Longiflorum Lily. and Asian Hybrid Lily. This was the first time photos of flowers were used instead of illustrations. These non-denominated 34 stamps were issued in self-adhesive format in anticipation of the 2001 first class rate increase. Stamps are on both sides of the booklet.
The stamps will be issued in a self-adhesive booklet of 20. a self-adhesive vending book of 20. and a self-adhesive coil of 100. These stamps. designed by Derry Noyes of Washington. DC. are based on photographs by Robert Peak of Winter Park. FL.
